We know that discipleship in the home is essential.
And we also know that the local church has a role to play in equipping families in that effort. The Fruit of the Spirit is a wonderful focus for even our little kids as these are the heart attitudes that Jesus calls us to embody in all of life.
Our recommendation is to walk through one “fruit” each week as a part of your regular Family Worship time. If you have toddler-aged children, you may slow it down and take 2 or more weeks per “fruit”.
Each “week” listed below includes: a focus “fruit”, memory verse, and corresponding Bible story from the Jesus Storybook Bible. If you have older kids who are reading, you may want to opt for reading the Bible story out of an actual Bible instead of the Jesus Storybook Bible.
